Kind of a mix of german and british gingerbreads. This is the recipe we baked at the christmas party last year!
Ingredients
200g flour
200g almond flour
180g white sugar
100g honey
2 whole eggs + 1 egg white
40g butter
4tbs gingerbread spices (easiest just to buy speculaas spices)
1sbs baking powder
dash of cinnamon
pinch of salt
Directions
Mix dry flour, almond flour, sugar, gingerbread spice, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Mix in the honey and eggs.
Cut in cold butter and knead into a dough.
Rest dough in fridge for at least half an hour.
Roll out about 3/4cm and cut into shapes.
Bake at 180 degrees for 8-15 minutes.
Decorate as desired.
