Most peoples favourite out of all my christmas cookies.
Ingredients
280g flour
100g almond flour
200g icing sugar (50g for the cookie, 150g for the coating)
3 packs of vanilla sugar (about 6 tsp.)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
200g butter
pinch of salt
Directions
Mix flour, almond flour, 50g of icing sugar and salt.
Add vanilla extract and cut in cold butter. Knead into a smooth dough.
Rest dough in fridge for at least half an hour.
Roll dough into small cylinders, about as thick as a pen, and form into crescent shapes.
Bake at 150 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
While baking prepare the coating: mix the remaining (150g) icing sugar with the vanilla sugar.
Coat cookies by rolling in the sugar mixture while they are still hot.
